"Taking into account the delicate situation that our Málaga Football Club is going through, we would like to express our full support for the measures being undertaken by the Club’s Judicial Administration in regard to the Employment Regulation File (ERE) towards a number of first team players”, the statement to the Blue and White peña members reads.

In addition, the Board of Directors of the Federation considers that this "painful" decision made by the Entity is "fundamental for the viability of our team" in order to "be able to comply with the economic rules imposed on us by the Professional Football League."

Finally, the letter states the "desire" to reach "an agreement with each and every one of the footballers involved so that they continue to be part of our family", wishing "those with whom such an agreement is not possible, the very best of luck on their new journey ”.
