Eliseu, Toulalan and Cazorla secured a resounding victory for Málaga CF at Getafe’s Coliseum, dressed in a striking colour called ‘electric cherry’.
Málaga will be dressed in orange this Friday in Getafe, and in the 11/12 season, also wore the away kit. An eye-catching jersey in a colour called ‘electric cherry’.
Beyond the colourful anecdote, ran matchday 26 of a competition in which the team ended in fourth position. Pellegrini’s team, in the second season with Abdullah Al Thani as president, visited a competitive Getafe that took the lead on the edge of half-time thanks to a goal from Diego Castro.
At the start of the second half, Eliseu equalised with a spectacular right-footer into the back of the net. In the final stage of play, the visitors clinched a comeback with two precious goals. First, Toulalan converted from a powerful long shot; and Cazorla, from 40 metres away, sentenced the match with a stunning shot into goal that lingers in the memory of Málaga fans.
