In regard to yesterday’s session, the same 24 players were in training at full pace. Namely, goalkeepers; Kameni, Boyko and Aarón; all available first team players, plus homegrown players; Luis Muñoz, Ontiveros, Kuki Zalazar and David Ramos. Following a video session at the start, the team underwent an intense session, prioritising, as is the norm, exercises with the ball.

Juanpi returned to the group, whilst Sandro and Recio continued with their specific training, along with reserve team goalkeeper, Samu Casado.

Absent today were the internationals; Mikel, Peñaranda and En-Nesyri, who yesterday underwent a series of medical tests in Málaga, which determined he sustained a contusion to the right internal calf muscle, pending development. With the Club’s permission, Koné and Kuzmanovic remain in France and Switzerland respectively.

At 10:30 tomorrow, Friday, Málaga CF will return to training at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium.
