The Blue and Whites’ squad was in training this Thursday morning for an hour and a half at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium. There were no new additions with regards to yesterday’s session.
The first part of the session took place in the stadium’s interior galleries; the team then stepped on to the pitch for foot-volleyball mini-matches in groups, tactical work using the ball, set piece practice, followed by stretching exercises. Like yesterday, goalkeepers; Kameni, Boyko and the reserve team’s Aarón, plus another 20 players were in training at full capacity, whilst Camacho underwent more specific training than the rest of the group in the first half of the session.
Homegrown central defender, Luis (contracture of left quadriceps) remained in the gym today to receive therapeutic treatment and physiotherapy, whilst Kuzmanovic is still in Switzerland following his operation.
Travelling to Barcelona today, accompanied by the Club’s Head of Medical Services, Juan Carlos Pérez Frías, were players; Keko, Charles and Weligton. The reason for the trip is for all three to have an inter-consultation with doctor Ramón Cugat, to follow up on the respective recovery processes of the aforementioned players.
Tomorrow, Friday from 10:30, Málaga CF will be in training at La Rosaleda stadium. At midday, coach Juande Ramos will hold a press conference and announce the team line-up for #SevillaFCMálaga.
