The team departs for the Spanish capital where tomorrow they’ll train in Las Rozas

The Málaga CF first team headed to Madrid this afternoon on the AVE high-speed train. The journey lasted a pleasant two and a half hours from the Costa del Sol capital’s María Zambrano station.

There was a spectacular send off with more than 100 fans at the Vialia shopping centre to cheer on Pellegrini’s squad who later arrived at Atocha station in Madrid, with the supporters’ expectations on their shoulders, at 20.40.  There was another 100 or so fans in Madrid to welcome them there.  This evening, the team will be based in the Hotel Meliá Castilla, where they arrived by coach to also be greeted by even more followers.
 
Tomorrow, Tuesday, at 11.30 a.m, Málaga will take part in a physical exercise session at the RFEF’s Ciudad de Fútbol in Las Rozas.  This is ahead of the Copa del Rey match against Real Madrid at the Bernabéu stadium tomorrow at 10 p.m.
