Quick goals from Agostinho (8’) and Valcarce (13’) – Bogarde narrowed the distance in 28’ – led Joaquín Peiró’s team to victory, with the following line-up: Contreras; Rojas, Bravo, Larrainzar (Iznata 46’), Valcarce; Rufete (Sandro 67’), De los Santos, Movilla (Fernando Sanz 62’), Agostinho; Edgar and Catanha.
In addition, in the 2014/15 season, against Luis Enrique’s Barça who won the League, Cup and Champions that same season, Málaga CF obtained a hard-fought 0-1 win on matchday 24 of the competition, on 21st February 2015. Juanmi, in minute 7 of the first half, sealed victory for Javi Gracia’s team. The Blue and Whites’ line-up consisted of the following players: Kameni; Rosales, Angeleri, Weligton, M.
