The Málaga and Kameni shield is ready for the Bernabéu

Last season the Blue and Whites maintained a clean sheet in their visit to Real Madrid. A feat achieved by only Atlético de Madrid and FC Barcelona in the last three years.

Marcelo Romero’s team are away to Real Madrid today, Saturday (16:15) at the Santiago Bernabéu. An almost impregnable stadium in which the home team has only let two draws escape this season in LaLiga.

However, Málaga CF clinching a positive result away to Zinedine Zidane’s team is nothing new. Last season the Blue and Whites drew 0-0, thanks to a solid performance from the visitors, particularly Carlos Kameni, who neutralised the attempts by the Whites time and again.

Málaga are one of the three teams that have kept a clean sheet at the Santiago Bernabéu in the last three seasons, between the League, Cup and Champions League. Since 28th September 2013, only Atlético de Madrid (0-1), FC Barcelona (0-4) and Málaga CF (0-0) have not conceded a goal at the stadium of the current LaLiga Santander leaders.

The Blue and Whites and Kameni have already earned a point this season from one of the most difficult grounds in the First Division; Camp Nou (0-0). Being also the only team to leave FC Barcelona goalless at their stadium so far this season.
