The last dance
Málaga Club de Futbol’s final training session of the 20/21 season took place this Saturday morning at La Rosaleda Stadium.
The team’s classic pre-match session prioritised technical-tactical work with the ball on the main pitch at Martiricos.
Sergio Pellicer had 15 professionals in action, the same as yesterday plus Benkhemassa (fit). Alexander (Venezuela), Mejías (gym) and Sá (retired) were the absent professional players.
In regard to homegrown players, reserve team members Strindholm, Isma Casas and Cristo were in training, as well as ‘juveniles’ Andrés, Haitam, Roberto, Recio, Bilal and Christian Delgado (new).
Calero underwent specific training on the pitch alongside physical trainer Manu Gestoso. Hicham and Chavarría remained in the gym and Ramón remains absent (immobilised shoulder).
Tomorrow, Sunday at 21:00, #MálagaCastellón will bring an end to the season, corresponding to LaLiga SmartBank matchday 42.
