This Tuesday morning Málaga completed its first training session on Dutch soil. It was cold, with intermittent rain and around 40 fans present in the fields next to the Hotel Carlton de Brug when the team trained for more than an hour and a half alternating between a physical work out and ball practice. On one side, there were mini games on a reduced pitch with six against six with Rubén and Willy always in goal. On the other five members practised finishing against reserve keeper Pol. And the other five players carried out specific work with fitness coach Enrique Ruiz. Almost at the end of the session, Maresca suffered a knock to his knee in an unfortunate clash with Rubén, leaving the session early accompanied by Doctor Juan Carlos Pérez Frías and masseur Marcelino Torrontegui.
