The bullring at La Malagueta will hold a very special gala event during which the province’s gold medals will be awarded. As well as Málaga CF, the Fundación ‘La Caixa’ and Starlite festival will also receive an award. The health workers within Málaga province will receive the Distinction of Honour for their incredible human and professional work in 2020 and the current year.
“It’s an honour for Málaga CF to receive this distinction on behalf of the Diputación de Málaga. President, Francisco Salado has shown us his support from the outset. During my first public meeting with the companies within the Málaga Business Club, the Diputación, represented by its President, assured us they would continue to help the Club during these tough times”, says José María Muñoz.
The Club’s judicial administrator added that “on numerous occasions I’ve expressed how proud I am of the work carried out at Málaga Club de Fútbol. This award recognises the daily work carried out within the different departments (finance, sport, business and institutional), as well as the Social Department thanks to our Foundation. In addition, we are committed to sport in our city with the creation of our sports city”.
Finally, Muñoz hopes that “this award will serve to encourage businesses and institutions to continue helping the Club and, as I’ve said numerous times, Málaga will have new sponsorships that will help us grow in the near future. We are all Malaga”.
This award has been presented for several years, recognising the main institutions and personalities of Málaga and the province. It is a true honour for the Entity to receive the Gold Medal on the Day of the Province, and we thank the Diputación Provincial de Málaga for their constant support of the Blue and White colours during these difficult times.
