The Club presents ‘La Rosaleda in 75 images’

This Wednesday 14th September, Málaga CF presented a photographic exhibition to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of La Rosaleda.

An anniversary on which Málaga Club de Fútbol, via its Foundation, celebrates the inauguration of the photographic exhibition ‘La Rosaleda in 75 images’, showcasing the evolution of the Martiricos stadium from the year of its construction, 1941, to the present day.

Photographs

The 75 photographs that make up the exhibition have various origins.  The collaboration between the MCF Foundation and the University of Málaga is highlighted, via the Centre for Imaging Technology (CTI), who carried out an essential role in attaining the images from the 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s, as well as their subsequent treatment.  The contribution from Diario SUR also stands out, whose archive contains images from the 80s onwards; as well as the Club’s photographer, Pepe Ortega, one of the notable exponents.  Lastly, the Entity wished Kiko Álvarez de Toledo to be present at this exhibition, a former photographer of the Club who passed away in May, with various photographs bearing his signature.

The photographic exhibition, at the Museum & Tour at La Rosaleda

Malaguistas and football fans in general who wish to visit the photographic exhibition, celebrating the 75th Anniversary of La Rosaleda, can do so via the MCF Museum & Tour guided visit at La Rosaleda.  ‘La Rosaleda in 75 images’ will be on show in the VIP Area of the Tribuna section of the stadium, until February 2017.
