The absence of 11 footballers and the presence of Paco Aguza and Víctor Ruiz, the day’s news at training
Málaga CF trained this morning in the Ciudad de Málaga stadium. A session of a little more than an hour and a half included group rounds and mini matches on reduced patches.
There were seven absent due to their recent duties with their national sides: Cazorla and Monreal (Spain), Demichelis (Argentina), Eliseu (Portugal), Seba (Uruguay), Rondón (Venezuela) and Mathijsen (Holland). The eighth, Isco, had a lighter session than the rest of the group that was joined by the youth defence players, Paco Aguza and Víctor Ruiz. Van Nistelrooy is now once again physically fit. With regards to the injured players, Weligton, Apoño, Baptista did exercises in the gym, and they were joined by Edinho, who is undergoing therapy for lower back pain. Malagueño, with his long term injury, carried out jogging work.
The Club’s Sporting Director, Antonio Fernández, was also present at this third session of the week, as was the former Blue and Whites’ forward, Alberto Luque.
Tomorrow, Thursday, at 10.30 a.m, Málaga Club de Fútbol will return to train at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium.
