Thanks fans!

Some 5,000 Malaguistas gathered at La Rosaleda Stadium to cheer on the team in today’s open training session full of memorable moments.

There was an impressive number of fans outside the stadium from early morning. The young Malaguistas were full of excitement and eager to enjoy this special day ahead of the Three Kings’ celebrations.

Just after 10:00, doors 6 and 10 at La Rosaleda opened to the public. Shortly afterwards the lower section of the Tribuna Baja filled up, as well as the Fondo Norte and even part of the Tribuna corner next to Fondo Sur. Five thousand Malaguistas.

Blue and White fans cheered on the players throughout the training session, celebrating the goals and the most impressive actions of Pepe Mel's men. Many of the young fans will enjoy #MálagaTenerife free of charge having attended this training session and validating the Club’s ticket promotion.

Two official Málaga CF first team shirts were raffled, the winners of which were Lucía Fernández-Centurión and Auxiliadora Salinas, who were presented with their shirts – in the case of Auxiliadora, her daughter – by Rubén Castro and Pablo Chavarría respectively. Then at the end of the session, Blue and White footballs and scarves were distributed, along with Malaguista sweets. In total, 100 scarves, 80 footballs and 10,000 sweets were launched into the stands. They also sang ‘Happy Birthday' for the Malaguistas present celebrating their birthday today.

At the end of the session, the team thanked the loyal, unconditional fans for their support, filling the venue where Málaga CF will play their first official match of 2023 on Saturday. The match kicks off at 18:30 against CD Tenerife, corresponding to LaLiga SmartBank matchday 22.

Your encouragement and support will drive us to fight for the three points to dedicate the first victory of the New Year to you. 5,000 thanks, Malaguistas!
