The Malaguista squad, following a brief 10-minute video session, stepped on to the Annexe pitch this Friday morning to advance preparations for the last League game of 2022.

A total of 27 players were under Pepe Mel’s orders today, 21 professionals and six homegrown players. The session kicked off with a warm-up with rounds in three groups, and a main block of tactical training within match situations.

Gallar and Juande continue to gradually re-join the group, whilst Esteban Burgos had a less intense session in the gym.

Cristian underwent solo running, Moussa and Olmo are advancing with their recovery treatments and Haitam is awaiting surgery.

The homegrown players in today’s first team training session were Carlos López, Andrés Caro, Dani Lorenzo, Juanmita, Fomba and Loren.

Tomorrow, Saturday, training will resume at La Rosaleda from 10:30.
