Tactical session at La Rosaleda

The team stepped on to the pitch at La Rosaleda at 10:30 this morning. After the usual team talk from Pellicer, the team carried out brief activation training followed by tactical work for the majority of the session.

Like yesterday, Lombán carried out normal group training, which also featured reserve team and ‘juvenil’ players, namely Gonzalo, Mini, Quintana, Cristo, Julio, Benítez and Kevin, plus Larrubia, Andrés and Loren.

Ismael, Ramón and Orlando Sá remained in the gym today. In addition to Calero, who continues with his recovery treatment, Chavarría underwent successful surgery in Madrid yesterday on his torn cruciate ligament (left knee). Except for any unforeseen circumstances, he will be discharged this afternoon and will return home to begin his recovery in Málaga. For his part, Hicham remains in Lille (France) with permission from the Club’s Medical Services.

Tomorrow, Friday at 10:30, Málaga CF will resume training at La Rosaleda’s facilities to prepare for Sunday’s #LogroñésMálaga clash, corresponding to LaLiga SmartBank matchday 29.
