Marcelo Romero’s men were in training on the pitch at the Ciudad de Málaga for approximately an hour and 45 minutes this morning, prioritising specific exercises using the ball. President Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani attended the session, accompanied throughout by Club adviser, Abdullah Ben Barek. The owner of the Club was very close to both the players and the coaching team.

Juankar underwent a normal session, as did Juanpi, who reintegrated into the group at a good pace. Sandro, Recio and Luis Muñoz worked under the instruction of fitness trainer, Hugo Camarero, focusing on specific exercises, separately from the group. In the case of the homegrown player, he sustained a blow to his right ankle yesterday. Koné and Kuzmanovic continue with their recoveries in France and Switzerland respectively.

Former Blue and Whites’ striker, Nabil Baha also paid a visit to this morning’s session, greeting members of the coaching team, medics and players.

Tomorrow, Friday from 10:30, Málaga CF will resume training at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium.
