Senior Judge José María Páez holds a speech at La Rosaleda
José María Páez, the Senior Judge in Málaga, took part in a talk with a group of lawyers in the Martiricos press room, where he affirmed “it’s a pleasure to be at La Rosaleda, where every fortnight I come to watch Málaga CF.”
The Senior Judge in Málaga, who is also a Málaga CF season ticket holder, was accompanied by Club advisers; Francisco Martín Aguilar, Abdullah Ben Barek and Antonio Benítez; corporate director general, Manuel Novo; sports director, Mario Husillos; and the Club’s legal representative; Joaquín Jofre.
José María Páez spoke about the Málaga-based, regional and Spanish legal landscape during his speech at the ‘Juan Cortés’ press room in La Rosaleda, in front of some 50 attendees. The Senior Judge, who has 25 years of experience, also reviewed the importance of knowing legal language, the independence of the judiciary, the City of Justice in Málaga and the reasons for delays in resolving cases.
This was a special talk for José María Páez, due to his links with La Rosaleda and Málaga CF: “For me, as with many ‘Malagueños’, it’s more than a club. I have lifelong memories, as when I was just four years old, Ben Barek, a friend of my father, brought me to La Rosaleda for the first time.”
