Demichelis
“A third consecutive win, and a second at home. I think that today we worked very well to quash their virtues and, in general terms, it was agreat match.  There are two teams above all others who play a league apart, but the others, we’ll keep fighting hard to be in the top end of the table.  We played a good match against Llorente, physically I feel good, but the important thing is how the team performed.”

Eliseu
“I’m happy, we must continue to take advantage of this good patch we’re going through.  We know that it’s just beginning and we have to be prepared for that as the league is very long.  I’m at ease and the boss is happy, which he should be.  Two chances escaped me, but the important thing is getting the three points.”

Cazorla
“Getting another three points, let alone against Athletic was always going to be complicated.  It’s weird what’s happening to me, and I try to contribute what I can so the team gets its points.  You must always try and have confidence in yourself; Julio shot one against the crossbar, and perhaps I wanted to test myself, and I’m having quite a lot of success with the free kicks.  Our objective is to get into Europe and get the maximum amount of points as possible.”

Gámez
“It’s a win that puts us in the top end of the table, the team is doing extremely well to be there.  This goal comes from the hard work put in and it’s an important victory for us. I’m in pain with an ankle strain; tomorrow we’ll see the doctor and see how it goes this week.  The fans are amazing and they’ve always been great with me.  I really appreciate that as it allows you to carry on growing.”
