Sanamar adds flavour to a new webinar

Another meeting for the MBC in which Sanamar was host and the invited guest was Fundación El Pimpi.

Sanamar was represented by its general manager, Jesús Gutiérrez. The food company belonging to The MBC affirms food safety and quality are the foundations to maintaining a lasting relationship. It started out as a family company and has grown thanks to lots of hard work, professionalism and client trust. Forty years later, when deliveries used to be made in the humble Mobylette, Sanamar is a benchmark in the food sector.

Jesús said that after his father and sister passed away, they made the decision to run the company in a different way. For them “people are the most important”. This is shown not only in terms of how they look after clients, but also their employees. In memory of his sister and with the desire to help others, Jesús invited Rocío González, manager of Fundación El Pimpi to the webinar. She demonstrated that the Foundation’s principal objective is to contribute to the improvement of society, starting with our city of Málaga, but without limits or borders. Defending its values in each of the actions undertaken. Enthusiasm, Excellence, Creativity and Love.

One of Sanamar’s biggest successes is its expansion within the market. They started selling to supermarkets and large food stores and opted for home delivery during the COVID-19 crisis. As such, they managed to reinvent themselves, using the moments where there was less activity to look into new products, such as the fried rosada with lemon dish that Sanamar sent to the members of The MBC to carry out a market study. Sanamar is shortly expanding the business with a new 8,000 square metre warehouse currently under construction and, perhaps, its own Foundation.

José María Muñoz stressed the importance of all the companies that support Málaga CF. In addition, he ended the webinar by explaining that Sanamar, El Pimpi and Málaga CF have three things in common. Memory – respecting the past and striving to keep its history alive; Commitment - developing responsible growth and taking care of their team, clients, fans and collaborators; and Faith – maintaining immense trust in order to succeed.
