Salomón Rondón, called-up by Venezuela

The Málaga forward, José Salomón Rondón has been called-up by the manager of Venezuela, César Farías, for the first two South American preliminary games for the 2014 Brazil World Cup.

Rondón, a fixture with the national team that’s known as ‘vinotinto’, will play for his country on 7th October in Quito, Ecuador.  And on 11th October, in Venezuela, he’ll play against his Málaga teammate, Martín Demichelis, when Argentina takes on Rondón’s national side.
 
It’ll be along road for the squad that came in fourth in the last Copa América to reach the World Cup in Brazil in 2014.
