The third ‘Malaguistas to the Core’ of the season was all about Rincón de la Victoria. The beautiful Axarquía town, ‘full of life’ as the promotional tourism slogan states, took centre stage during #MálagaRacing on Sunday.

In their dedicated match, all the initiatives revolved around the nearby coastal town, situated less than 17 kilometres away from La Rosaleda Stadium.

The first to arrive were the 50 students from the Rincón de la Victoria Municipal Football School, who received the Malaguista home shirt as soon as they got off the bus. Dressed in the Blue and White colours, they went through the turnstile to take their seats in Tribuna Alta, from where they watched #MálagaRacing, following a group photo with the pitch in the background.

Simultaneously, a lucky group of six enjoyed the VIP Experience together with Sebastián Fernández Reyes 'Basti' from the MCF Foundation’s Social Department, welcoming the Malaguista team on arrival and witnessing the warm-up on the pitch.

In the run-up to the match and also during half-time, a promotional advert for Rincón de la Victoria was projected on La Rosaleda’s video scoreboards, accompanied by a mention on the speaker during which all the charms of this wonderful town were highlighted: the beaches and their surroundings, the unique cliffs, the central Plaza Al Andalus, the iconic Casa Fuerte de Bezmiliana, the two large natural caves - the Cueva del Tesoro and the Cueva de la Victoria, the Roman Villa Antiopa, as well as the outdoor sporting activities and delicious gastronomy with 'Sabor a Málaga'.

Many of these enclaves and the jewels of Rincón de la Victoria were on display at the promotional stand located on the first floor of the Tribuna VIP area, where informative brochures of the main tourist attractions were distributed, as well as bags, key rings and magnets from the municipality.

The town’s institutional representation featured Mayor Francisco Salado, and Antonio José Martín Moreno, Councillor for Sport, Youth and Tourism.

Another of the moments during which Rincón de la Victoria took centre stage within #MálagaRacing was the Escort Kids feature, where 11 students from the Municipal Football School accompanied the Blue and White players stepping on to the pitch and during the team greetings.

Lastly, the town in Axárquía also appeared on the LED perimeter billboards, displaying: 'Rincón de la Victoria, full of life, Costa del Sol, Axarquía'.

The third ‘Malaguistas to the Core’ of the 2022/23 season, after Nerja and Alhaurín de la Torre. A campaign stemming from the great relationship between Málaga CF and Diputación Provincial de Málaga, the Club's main sponsor, aiming to take Malaguismo to all corners of the province.

The next Costa del Sol municipalities to visit La Rosaleda will be Torrox and Frigiliana.

Thank you, Rincón de la Victoria for becoming ‘Malaguistas to the Core.’
