Training kicked-off for the Málaga CF squad with a video session, before moving on to the pitch at La Rosaleda to begin physical and tactical work. Once on the field of play, the team underwent the usual warm-up and various activation exercises. Finally, the Blue and Whites’ coach arranged his players on a full-size pitch to practice strategic aspects of play.
Recio again completed the session normally today. Samu García and Peñaranda, meanwhile, were not in training with their teammates. The Málaga-born player is suffering with an infection to his toe, and exercised in the gym, whilst the Venezuelan striker is in the final stage of his recovery, following a month out of action due to an injury to the hamstring in his left leg.
The Malaguistas will welcome Valencia CF tomorrow, Saturday (20:45) to La Rosaleda stadium, for LaLiga Santander matchday 24.
