Recovery session ahead of Sunday

The Malaguistas kicked off the week of training at the Annexe, with a recovery session for the players who logged the most minutes in Leganés, and more intense work for the rest of the group.

Málaga CF started their training week on Monday, following yesterday’s match against CD Leganés. The session was held at the Annexe just after 10:30, with focus already on Sunday’s fixture against FC Andorra on matchday 11 of LALIGA HYPERMOTION, taking place at La Rosaleda at 14:00.

Players who logged the most minutes in Butarque focused on recovery work, while the rest of the squad trained with higher intensity.

Right-back Jokin Gabilondo partially rejoined training while his fracture heals, wearing a protective bandage on his right forearm.

Chupete and Dorrio were absent from the session due to viral infections. Meanwhile, Pastor, Moussa, Ramón, Lusimi, and Niño continue with their respective recovery processes.

Goalkeeper Jorge Ruiz, and defenders Rafita, who played the full match in Leganés, and Recio, who did the same with Atlético Malagueño in Melilla, were the homegrown players present on this first day of the week’s training.

The Blue and Whites will resume activity on Wednesday at 10:30 at La Rosaleda’s facilities, with the full group back together to continue preparations for #MálagaAndorra.
