Record seventh win! (2-0)

Málaga CF defeated Nàstic at La Rosaleda in the 14th match of LaLiga 1 | 2 | 3. The goals of Koné and Adrián gave the seventh win in seven home games – an historic record for MCF, the provisional leader of the competition.

A total of six reincorporated players were introduced by Muñiz in the line-up, compared to last week in Gijón. Kieszek, in goal; Ricca, on the left wing; and a completely new centre, with N'Diaye and Adrián in the wide area, plus Ontiveros and Renato on the wings. In minute 4, the first danger shot came from Ontiveros from the left. The domain of the ball clearly lay with MCF from the outset, against an almost retracted-back visiting side.

Renato Santos, in the 18th minute, tried his luck with a distant shot that Becerra blocked. And it was this Portuguese player who set-up the first Blue and Whites goal by sending a shot to Koné, who then mastered the perfect header, sneaking the ball into the net (1-0, 25 '). This makes the second consecutive goal by the Ivorian striker in the championship.

Diego González (29 ') and Ricca (32') were able to extend the dominance soon after with two clear chances that reflected the superiority shown against Nàstic. The Uruguay-born captain, in the 39thminute, had the second goal in his head, with a shot at point-blank range after a corner kick by Renato. Before halftime, there was the only bad news of the first 45 minutes: the scorer, Koné, had to leave the pitch due to injury. At halftime, it was 1-0.

Haksabanovic, as we got in the second half, made his debut in a Blue and White strip, taking over from the aforementioned Mamadou Koné. Málaga generated several corners in the first section of the second half, with Blanco Leschuk always on the lookout. Already in the 67thminute, Haksabanovic combined with Ontiveros, cross kick stuck on the left post of Becerra’s goal. The Marbella-born player was causing constant danger every time he got near the ball.

The visitor Tete, in the 75th minute, was expelled by the referee, leaving Nàstic in a numerically inferior situation. Hicham, in the 80thminute, came on for a much-applauded Renato. Control of the match was always with the Malaguistas, and Kieszek was virtually as a spectator to the proceedings. The fans awarded Ontiveros with a big ovation when being replaced by Lacen. And, before the final whistle, there was a second goal. It was a superb action by Leschuk's right foot, which reached Adrián, who then scored into an empty goal (2-0, 92 ').

This is the seventh victory in seven league games - an historic MCF record - in La Rosaleda, securing the provisional leadership and a first third of the competition with 29 points for manager Juan Ramón Muñiz’s team. Vamos Málaga!
