The well-known ‘spirit of Anoeta’, despite the sad outcome of the 17/18 season, led Málaga to victory against Real Sociedad de Fútbol at their ground.

The goals from Borja Bastón, from the penalty spot (0-1, 23’), and former Real player, ‘Chory’ Castro (0-2, 58’), secured a win for Míchel González’s team away from home. The match took place on 10th December 2017, on First Division matchday 15. The three points flew home to La Rosaleda from San Sebastián.
