The Málaga CF Femenino midfielder analyses the upcoming match between the Blue and Whites and Granada CF Femenino: “Granada is our great rival, but anyone can do us harm”.
Málaga CF Femenino return to the pitch this Sunday 24th September. Kick-off is at 12:00 against Granada CF Femenino at the Estadio de la Juventud. Antonio Contreras’ team will face the Red and Whites, leading the table with six points following two consecutive victories.
Malaguista midfielder, Raquel García, who was in the starting line-up in the first two games of the season, talks to the Club media in the run-up to #GranadaMálaga.
Granada CF
“Any rival can cause trouble for us. We have to continue with this mentality and our ideas of play. Granada is our great rival in the league, but anyone can do us harm”.
League break
“The team hasn’t noticed the break as we’ve maintained the same level of intensity as previous weeks. We’ve been working just as hard. It’s as if there hasn’t been a league break, the only difference is we haven’t had a match, but the intensity has been the same since day one”.
Adapting
“From the very first day, both the players and coaching team helped the new members fit in and feel comfortable on the pitch. Confidence is good, and with these players and these coaches, it’s very easy to adapt and play”.
