Between 11:00 and 11:30 approximately, the session got underway with a video viewing. Then on this rainy, cold morning, the Blue and Whites moved on to the pitch at La Rosaleda Stadium to prioritise technical work with the ball.
The starting players from the Copa del Rey clash the day before yesterday, under the supervision of trainer Enrique Ruiz, underwent a less intense session than the rest of the group. Positive news of the day is the return of Juan Soriano, who trained at a good pace with Dani Barrio and homegrown keepers Gonzalo and Strindholm.
Matos remained in the gym this morning, along with reserve team forward Julio, the latter who sustained a right ankle sprain in the final part of yesterday’s training. Hicham and Jozabed continue to gradually re-join the group.
Tomorrow, Saturday at 18:15, #MálagaRealOviedo will get underway at La Rosaleda, corresponding to matchday 21 and bringing a close to the first round of LaLiga SmartBank 20/21.
