Héctor Díaz's side has begun preparations for the 2026/27 league campaign, with the squad welcoming its four new signings already confirmed: Lucía, Carmela, Judith and Elsa.
On Friday 31st July, the Blue and Whites underwent their routine medical examinations at Hospital Quirónsalud, the club's official medical provider, before returning to the pitch for training sessions on Saturday and Sunday.
The team held its first training session of the week yesterday at the Ciudad Deportiva Fundación MCF from 20:00, the same schedule followed throughout last season. This week, the squad will train on five days, alternating between gym-based fitness work and on-pitch sessions, with two rest days.
The squad is made up of 16 players retained from the 2025/26 season, 14 of them from Málaga, along with four new signings: goalkeeper Judith, defender Elsa, and forwards Lucía and Carmela. A number of reserve team players will also train with the first team throughout preseason.
Málaga CFF will once again compete in the Segunda Federación de Fútbol Femenino this season, with the league fixture list yet to be confirmed. During August, the team will combine training sessions with several preseason friendlies, while the RFAF Andalucía Cup will be their first competitive outing of the summer.
