Portillo pulls out of training because of hamstring problems
Málaga Club de Fútbol will train at La Rosaleda Stadium this Friday morning from 10.30 am.
This Thursday morning Málaga Club de Fútbol trained at Málaga City Athletics Stadium. Manuel Pellegrini’s pupils combined exercises with and without the ball: shooting at goal, defence-attack transitions and mini games on a smaller pitch. During the session, reserve Portillo had to pull out because of some hamstring problems in his right leg. Tomorrow, the reserve player will undergo medical tests in the Clínicas Rincón-Málaga C.F. health centre to find out more about the injury. Absent from training were Malagueño and Hélder Rosario, who worked under the orders of fitness coach Enrique Ruiz and continued with their specific treatment running laps; Kris and Rubén, exercised at an easier pace in the gym; and Duda, Baptista and Asenjo, with long term injuries. Weligton rejoined the Group. Youth team members, Omar, Cala and Jurado, plus regulars Juanmi and Recio were present.
