The Malaguista squad returned to work this morning at CD Tenerife’s Ciudad Deportiva Javier Pérez facilities, hours after the LaLiga SmartBank matchday 6 fixture and before starting the journey back to Málaga.
The session kicked off at 10:00, local time, and lasted for nearly 90 minutes, differentiating two workloads based on participation in Monday night’s match.
The starting players underwent a more physical session, whilst the rest of the group focused on more demanding tasks featuring possession exercises and games on a reduced-sized pitch.
Luis Muñoz, Esteban Burgos, Ramalho and Andrés Caro, who weren’t part of the expedition to Tenerife due to injury, are advancing in their respective recovery processes.
The team will return to Málaga this afternoon to begin preparations at Martiricos tomorrow for the upcoming league match. Kick-off is on Saturday at 18:30 against Villarreal B at La Rosaleda.
