The ‘Malaguista’ first team was in training this Tuesday morning at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium. Following a day off yesterday, this is the first of two sessions scheduled for today.
The Blue and Whites prioritised physical work during the hour and a half-long session this morning. Kameni remained in the gym to undergo specific training, and will join the group session this afternoon. Torres returned to his teammates for the first session of the day, whilst Santa Cruz, who on Sunday suffered discomfort to the adductor muscle in his left leg, was back in normal training. Juankar and Flávio were absent through injury.
Goalkeeper, Aarón Escandell, and midfielder, Pablo Fornals were the only reserve team players present in the session today. Home grown players, Ontiveros and Álex Robles, who are regular fixtures in first team training sessions, particularly the Marbella-born winger, are currently on duty with Spain’s under-19s and under-17s respectively.
Later today from 5 p.m.,Málaga CF’s second session of the day will kick off at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium.
