Miguel Torres gradually incorporated into the group
Málaga CF was in training this Sunday morning at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium. All the starting players from the match in Sevilla underwent a recovery session separately from the group, to which Miguel Torres was partially integrated.
Under the supervision of fitness trainer, Enrique Ruiz, the starting-11 from yesterday’s game at the Pizjuán remained inside the stadium to undergo physical recovery training.
The substitutes and non-called-up players from the match in Sevilla – 11 players on the pitch including home grown player, Pablo and goalkeeper, Ochoa, who focused his training under the instruction of goalkeeping coach, Íñigo Arteaga – exercised on the pitch from 10:30 a.m. until 12 p.m., prioritising exercises with the ball.
Miguel Torres started the session normally with the group, and later underwent specific training under the instruction of fitness trainer, Hugo Camarero. The Madrid-born defender is in the process of being reincorporated into group training. Meanwhile Santa Cruz, suffering with discomfort to the adductor muscle in his left leg, pending development, retired from the session before his teammates. Juankar and Flávio were absent through injury.
Tomorrow, Monday, the ‘Malaguistas’ have a day off. On Tuesday 19th, Javi Gracia’s men will return to training at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium with a double session (10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.)
