“It’s always important to win away.  The result has been pretty fair even though neither team had any many major opportunities; we had one with Van Nistelrooy that hit the goalpost in the first half, another that Aouote took to Santi Cazorla, and one that could’ve been a penalty, plus the two counter-attacks that could’ve been goals.”
 
“We had a solid defence that stopped Mallorca getting near our goal.  Mallorca is a team that never loses its momentum of play, it’s a complicated rival and we coped well.”
 
“In the second half we didn’t suffer too badly, it was Mallorca who had the ball, but without dominating it and without causing us too much damage.  To be honest, we would’ve been better if we’d pulled out all the stops in the second half, but we didn’t do too badly and Willy had almost no major threats.”
