Pau to debut with Spain U-21s

The Malaguista defender was called-up yesterday for two upcoming international fixtures for the Under-21s against Romania and Austria.

Pau Torres has been rewarded for his excellent season, marked by consistency and regularity in each of his performances. A total of 29 official matches in LaLiga 1|2|3 (2.160 minutes), in which he scored a goal and gave an assist in addition to seeing four yellow cards. The Blue and White defender is the only player in the competition who has played all minutes of all league games.

Málaga CF’s number ‘5’, during his first international call-up, will join First Division players such as Oyarzabal, Borja Mayoral, Carlos Soler, Alfonso Pedraza, Marc Roca and former Malaguista Pablo Fornals, amongst others.
