Our Alevín team proclaimed Palma Soccer Cup champions
Also taking part, the Benjamín A reached the semi-finals of the competition. As such, the MCF Academy put on an exceptional performance in this prestigious tournament, against some of the major youth teams.
The MCF Academy couldn’t have ended 2018 in a better way. The Alevín and Benjamín 'A' teams were proclaimed champions and semi-finalists respectively of the prestigious Palma Soccer Cup tournament, in which they faced some of the major youth teams including Atlético de Madrid, Valencia CF and Borussia Dortmund.
Málaga CF’s Alevín reached and won the final against a team from the RFEF by 1-0. The Malaguista squad had an exceptional competition. These were the results achieved by the Blue and Whites’ team which took them to the final:

Atlético Malagueño, in the I Memorial Luis Vega de Bornos (Cádiz)
Making the most of the league break, Atlético Malagueño have closed a brilliant year marked by the outstanding promotion to Second Division B with a triangular tournament in Cádiz. The team led by Manolo Sanlúcar, who returns to his homeland as coach of the Blue and Whites’ reserve team, faced Xerez Deportivo FC and Bornense in this triangular tournament, which was won by Xerez. Malagueño is therefore back to work and will resume competition on 6th January on league matchday 19 against CD El Ejido 2012.
