Ontiveros signs to Villarreal CF

The player leaves the Malaguista discipline following the agreement reached with Villarreal CF for the transfer of the Blue and White homegrown player, with the relevant documentation between both clubs now complete.

Javier Ontiveros Parra (Marbella, 1997) was formed in the MCF Academy until his debut and subsequent consolidation within Málaga CF’s first team. He made his debut in LaLiga Santander on 21st November 2015 in Barcelona against RCD Espanyol.

Since then, the winger has played 34 matches in LaLiga Santander, seven in the Copa del Rey and 47 in LaLiga SmartBank, 14 of which when he was loaned out to Real Valladolid CF in the 17/18 campaign. Ontiveros has scored seven goals and given eight assists as an MCF player.

During his time in the youth ranks, his standout achievements include winning the Copa de Campeones de España with the Juvenil División de Honor (2015/16) and his historic participation in the UEFA Youth League (2016/17).

Málaga Club de Fútbol wishes Javier Ontiveros the best of luck for this next stage of his career with Villarreal CF.
