The second piece of good news of the week for Malaguista coach Juan Ramón López Muñiz. If yesterday was the turn of Dani Pacheco to return to group training, today saw Javier Ontiveros back with his teammates and on the pitch with a big smile. Pacheco again completed the group session this Friday morning.
The team kicked off training at La Rosaleda with a series of activation exercises before carrying out the usual warm-up. The players later rehearsed finishing exercises and goal-shooting practice.
Juankar stayed in the gym this morning (he moved on to the pitch to undergo continuous running), together with Koné and Seleznov, with all three recovering from their respective physical problems. The usual homegrown players with the first team (Harper, Iván Rodríguez, Keidi, Iván Jaime and Hugo) were again in training under Muñiz’s orders today.
The Malaguista squad will return to training tomorrow, Saturday (09:45), the final session before heading to Tarragona for the team concentration ahead of Sunday’s game.
