The season for the two greatest talents in the Malaguista youth ranks isn’t going by unnoticed. Javier Ontiveros and Youssef En-Nesyri, from the MCF Academy, are regular fixtures with the first team, and were part of Atlético Malagueño before making the leap to the elite.
Integrated into the routine of the first team, this season they’ve been part of important victories for the Malaguistas. The striker, an international with Morocco, was a key player in the victory against SD Eibar (2-1) with a superb goal. The Marbella-born winger scored the winning goal against Deportivo de La Coruna (4-3), with a spectacular right-footer from outside the area.
Stellar performances like the ones mentioned have placed both in the running for Golden Boy 2017, amongst some of the best under-21’s players in the world. The list includes a total of 98 footballers, 15 from LaLiga Santander, as well as emerging stars such as Gianluigi Donnarumma (Milan), Emre Mor (B. Dortmund), Renato Sanches (Bayern), Gabriel Jesús (Manchester City) and Kylian Mbappé (Monaco).
