An intense morning of training of more than two hours that kicked off with initial activation work and continued with a focus on technical-tactical training on the main Martiricos pitch.
Like yesterday, Javi Jiménez was absent from the group today. The medical tests carried out revealed a muscular injury to the right Iliacus psoas (pending evolution).
Pablo Chavarría, Juande and Adrián López continued with their respective recovery treatments.
In regard to homegrown players, two new faces joined training today. Left-back Víctor Olmo and defensive midfielder Quintana worked alongside regular fixtures Strindholm, Kevin, Roberto and Ismael Gutiérrez. Andrés Caro was absent as he’s in concentration in Morocco with Spain’s Under-18s.
Tomorrow, Wednesday at 10:30, Málaga CF’s third training session of the week will get underway at La Rosaleda Stadium. Then at 13:00 Jozabed will hold a press conference.
