The team returned to training this Friday morning for an hour and a half at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium. Homegrown players, Luis, Kuki and Ontiveros were back to normal training with the first team today.
Following an initial warm-up in the stadium’s interior galleries, exercises using the ball were given priority: passes, centres, goal-shooting, free kicks and mini-matches of foot-tennis.
In total, 23 players were under the orders of coach, Juande Ramos today. Goalkeepers, Kameni and Boyko, plus 16 of the match-fit first team members, along with homegrown players, Aarón, Samu Casado,Luis Muñoz, Kuki Zalazar and Javi Ontiveros, the latter three fully incorporated into the group.
Separately from the group, Recio underwent solitary running, whilst Charles, Weligton, Llorente and Keko remained in the gym to undergo recovery treatment. The latter, although he was scheduled to begin training on the pitch this week, looks set to start continuous running on Monday.
Tomorrow, Saturday from10:30, Málaga CF will be in training at La Rosaleda stadium. At midday, Juande Ramos will hold a press conference and announce the team line-up for#MálagaLeganés.
