More than 1,500 fans go to the bullring to see first-hand the new team kits of the 2016/17 season.
Málaga CF’s new kits are now a reality. In front of more than 1,500 fans, and at a different location (La Malagueta bullring), the first team players presented the kits for the 2016/17 season.
The team’s six new signings (Keko, Jony, Kuzmanovic, Koné, Sandro and Llorente) wore the new shirts, along with the three team captains (Duda, Weligton and Camacho) and goalkeepers,Kameni, Aarón and Samu Casado.
President Al-Thani, and advisers, Sheikh Nasser Al-Thani, Sheikh Rakan Al-Thani and Sheikh Nayef Al-Thani, didn’t want to miss out on the presentation. Sports director, Francesc Arnau was also in attendance.
The home shirt is characterised by a graduated design on the front, from the chest to the bottom, going from white to blue and white. ‘Málaga CF’ is screen-printed on the shoulders, and at the top is the slogan ‘El sentimiento nunca muere’ (‘The feeling never dies’). The main change this season is the colour of the shorts to royal blue (the socks are also blue).
The official away shirt, ochre in colour, includes the slogan of the 75th Anniversary of La Rosaleda on the back, black lines on the shoulders, paired with black shorts and socks.
The third kit is a shade of blue with fine white lines, and blue shorts and socks.
