The Malaguista coach reviewed the team before the league gets underway. “The players are on top form and keen to show what they can do”, she said.
Preparation
“Since we started on 10th August, it’s been a really unusual preseason. We weren’t allowed on the pitch until September, then we’ve been in quarantine over these 10 days, but they’ve come out raring to go. We prepared specific training adapted to each player through the physical trainer. Rest is good for them, both physically and psychologically. The players are on top form, keen to show what they can do, and what they’ve been working on during the preseason. The coaching staff and the players couldn’t be happier”.
Objectives
“In terms of results, the aim is to be at the top. At Club level, we want to create and maintain stability in the game and be a recognised team, which we’re going to achieve. The girls and the coaching team are extremely focused. It’s one of the objectives, apart from being at the top, as Málaga are one of the greats, historic in this category and in women’s football”.
