Munir: “We want to keep getting stronger and adding points”

The Blue and White goalkeeper attended to the media at the Ciudad de Málaga press room about upcoming rival, CD Mirandes: “They compete very well, it will be a very close game”, he affirmed.

The team is on an upward trajectory

“I believe the team is competing very well. Defensively this is a great time for us, we’re doing things right and in the end our intention is to keep adding points and grow as a team, which I believe is what we’re doing. It’s wonderful to see the team working hard each day to improve and we hope to continue along this same line”.

Good work in defence

“To be among the best and concede the fewest goals is down to the entire team making a huge effort. I think that’s the team’s image, despite not scoring as many goals as we’d like, we’re making a great effort in defence”.

On a personal level

“I’m feeling pretty good, at ease. I’m competing well, conceding very few goals, which helps to boost confidence. Having the teammates I have also helps, as they make my job much easier. There are always things to improve, and I’m the first one to demand the most from myself and will continue to do so until the end of the season to try and exceed the level of the previous week”.

The next rival, CD Mirandes

“I believe it will be a difficult game. This is a rival that is competing very well, who will come here with confidence. It will be a very close game. At home we compete very well and have obtained positive results for some time now. We’ll do our best to continue doing so. The team is working hard during the week. We’re adapting well to the coach and taking on board his concepts in order to try to win the three points”.

Add and grow

“It would be great to get all three points to move away from the bottom of the table and have some breathing space. We want to keep getting stronger, adding points and ensure the second round gets off to a better start than the first”.
