“They are a difficult rival, right now one of the most dangerous as they have one of the best squads in the category. They have reinforced the team well and have come from the First Division. It’s a group that has been working together for some time. We know they are very dangerous now as they need a win, especially at home. It’s crucial for them, but we are convinced we’ll go there to compete. We’ll try to be protagonists, brave with the humility that characterises us and work hard in the best way we can”.

Giving our all, match by match

“We have an ambitious dressing room, an eagerness to compete and show the best of ourselves. For us, the most important thing is winning three points in Girona, and we’ll continue like this throughout the season. Last season we kicked off LaLiga by winning five games in a row and we thought we’d easily achieve promotion. I believe we must compete day to day, show the best version of ourselves every day and be consistent during the year. In the end, that is what will get us where we want to be at the end of the season”.

Bittersweet end to the season

“It was a huge blow to us when we didn’t get promoted. Because you have to take the positives from everything, we can say that we have one of the best fan bases in the world and, at least for me, it was a very bittersweet situation. Experiencing that support from the fans and my teammates was something I’ll never forget”.

“Keeping our fans in mind throughout the season will give us that boost. We need to show the best of ourselves and do our job, which is why we’re here. We have the best fans in the world, and they deserve for us to do our absolute best on the pitch and give our all for this shirt”.
