Mirandés is Málaga CF’s rival in the Copa del Rey

CD Mirandés is Málaga CF’s rival in the knockout stage of the 2015/16 Copa del Rey, following the draw held today at the RFEF’s Football City in Madrid.

The first leg is taking place on 2nd December in Burgos, whilst the return leg will be held at La Rosaleda on 16th December.  Talking about Málaga’s rival, sitting in eighth place in the ‘Adelante’ League, ‘Malaguista’ coach, Javi Gracia said in today’s press conference: “It is not an imminent concern, we will worry about this later.  We are looking forward to the Cup competition with excitement and have the ambition to go as far as possible, however right now I prefer to analyse tomorrow’s match (in Valencia).”

CD Mirandés and Málaga CF - an unprecedented duel in which the Burgos-based side will play in Málaga province for the first time.  Goalkeeper, Iñaki Goitia and the skilful Jordi Pablo are common players in both teams; whilst Félix Sáenz, Requejo and Tello coincided in Club Deportivo Málaga.
