Migueli, Viberti and a new captain’s armband by Puche
The Málaga CF captain in #AlavésMálaga will once again wear a special armband designed by the Malagueño artist and passionate Malaguista follower, José Luis Puche.
As happened in Lugo, at home against Huesca, in Ponferradina and last week against Mirandés, the Blue and White captain's armband will feature another tribute to our great Malaguista fans. In this case, the fifth design within the initiative and the fourth created by international Malagueño artist, José Luis Puche.
Last week, in the run-up to #MálagaMirandés, he was signing the armbands that were sold at the MCF Store in La Rosaleda. “It’s very exciting,” he said. “People had reacted very positively to the images we had featured on the armband and its design,” he commented.
Ahead of tomorrow's game at Mendizorroza, Puche claims to have “‘planetised’ our shield” and has placed the Saturn belt with the green and purple colours, embracing it by the colours of the city.
“Continuing in the wake of the previous shield, where Ben Barek appeared, although in a circular design, here I wanted to pay tribute to historical players from Málaga who are also featured on our access gates to the stadium. In this case, we have Migueli and Viberti,” the artist explained.
“The public continues cheering in the background, always in a different way than before. This time, I wanted to simulate our Blue and White colours as if they were the sea, like waves, showing that we are a Malaguista tide,” José Luis Puche said to the MCFTV cameras.
As on previous occasions, the armband will shortly be raffled, exclusively for our Loyal Malaguistas, without the need to register in the Private Area or any other requirement.
