Miguel Torres completed part of today’s session with the group

The Malaguista defender returned to work this Sunday morning, as part of a gradual reincorporation. The starting players from the victory against Valencia CF had a workout in the gym, whilst the rest of the squad trained at the Annexe.

Miguel Torres was the main new addition to Málaga CF’s training session today, following yesterday’s win against Valencia CF (2-0) at La Rosaleda. The defender completed part of the session with his teammates on the pitch at the Annexe, although he retired in the final part of training as a precaution.

The players who were part of the League match against Valencia exercised in the gym, whilst the rest of the team were in training under the orders of Míchel. A total of 10 pitch players, plus three goalkeepers (Kameni, Boyko and Kellyan). Homegrown players, Luis Muñoz and Aarón weren’t in training with the first team as they are in action with Atlético Malagueño at 12:00 against Loja CD.

Roberto Rosales trained in the gym and will undergo tests on Monday to determine the extent of the injury to his anterior rectus abdominis muscle. Jony sustained a blow to his left knee in the match against Valencia and is awaiting any development. Homegrown player, Kuki Zalazar underwent specific work under the instruction of fitness trainer, Hugo Camarero. Koné and Peñaranda stayed in the gym. Juanpi and Kuzmanovic remain absent.

The team will return to training on Monday (10:30) at La Rosaleda’s Annexe ground, to prepare for the LaLiga clash with Granada CF on Tuesday.
