Inside story
Weligton’s car, a 1973 Volkswagen Beetle, was acquired by the Brazilian in Torremolinos six months ago.  In the back it has a TV, a music system, a mobile phone recharger…and in the front, the seats have the motif W03 and a DVD player on the right hand side of the steering wheel.  It’s also a convertible.  And the colour is a mix of red and black.
 
“I’ve restored it with a lot of care,” says the Blue and Whites number 3. “I’m not someone who’s all about one make, I’m more about the cars.  Through a friend I met the owner of this car, and for a joke I bought it and restored it and look at the car now.  I’m really pleased with it and I hope to enjoy it” he enthuses.

“A reliable car, for what he’s doing, Toulalan. He’s the backbone of the team.”

“I haven’t stopped to think about it.  Hopefully a good-goer, an all-terrain one.”

Upcoming circuits/ rival teams
“As in Formula 1, you have to adjust the car for each circuit, and for that we have the manager – to tweak things and hopefully we’ll have the car on top form.  There are issues like rain, sand, bad weather, and we have to prepared for it all.  I’m always going to accelerate to help out the teammates and whenever the boss calls on me, I’ll be ready.”
 
Automobile Museum of Málaga
MCF-TV made the trip with Weligton from the Ciudad de Málaga Athletics Stadium to the Automobile Museum of Málaga, which is a great day out for ‘petrolheads’ who love both classic and futuristic cars.
