Atlético Malagueño achieved a crucial victory against CF Talavera, (0-1). For their part, the División de Honor team saw how Real Betis turned the match around.

Atlético Malagueño earned a valuable win at the tough ground of CF Talavera. In a match with few occasions, but in which Manolo Sanlúcar’s boys managed to dominate all aspects of play, it was Deco who put the Blue and Whites in the lead just before half-time. An action that started on the right wing ended with a dead ball inside the area that the midfielder launched into the back of the net. In the second half, possession mostly belonged to the locals, however they weren’t able to overcome the Blue and White defensive lines.
Juvenil DH
The Juvenil División de Honor saw how Real Betis came from behind after the Blue and Whites took the lead in minute 22 thanks to a goal from César in a move straight from the Francis Bravo textbook. The match went level in minute 35 following a counter attack from the Green and Whites. In 66’ Betis took the lead after making the most of a dead ball in the area. The Blue and Whites kept insisting until the end but didn’t manage to secure an equaliser.
