Málaga Club de Fútbol’s first team was back in training this Tuesday 8th May, in the Ciudad de Málaga stadium, following two days off.
Twenty four players were in coach Manuel Pellegrini’s training session this morning, beginning with the usual warm-ups, passing exercises and a practice match.
Joris Mathijsen is back in training, beginning the session with the rest of the team, then undergoing separate exercises apart from the group, with trainer Enrique Ruiz.
With Joris Mathijsen back, Enzo Maresca, Julio Baptista, Willy Caballero and Jérémy Toulalan underwent exercises in the Ciudad de Málaga gym, continuing with their respective recovery treatments.
Kameni, Rubén and Pol continued training with goalkeeping coach Xabi Mancisidor. General Manager of Málaga Club de Fútbol, Fernando Hierro was present in today’s session, along with Sports Director, Antonio Fernández.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 9th May, the Blue and Whites return to training, in their last week of League competition, ahead of their match against Real Sporting de Gijón, on Sunday 13th May at 8 p.m.
